Super Editing

The Super Edit Room room incorporates a Fast Track linear editor with wiring for up to 4 tape machines.  In addition, there is a Final Cut Pro system for non-linear editing.

The room also serves as a second production control room with a 48 input 24 output two mix/effects HD Grass Valley Kayak video production switcher, with integral multi-channel DVE and still store system. A 24 input, 12 output digital audio production console provides audio mixing for editing and production capabilities.

High Definition character generation and graphics are provided via HD Deko and integrate into the facility’s editing and graphics workstations.

The room features a two tier set of consoles that provide seating for seven production personnel. Each seat provides for intercom, video/audio monitoring and local LAN production computer capability.

The monitor wall supports sixteen 23″ HD color source monitors and two 42″ preview and program monitors. Each monitor is equipped with a 16 digit source ID tally panel.

A full six channel (5.1) audio monitor system, equalized for room acoustics provides program and playback audio monitoring.
