Editing
5 full function 5.1, Digital High Definition Video Editing Bays, utilizing Final Cut Pro provide the facility with state of the art Non-Linear Digital Video Editing capabilities utilizing the DVC Pro HD 100 protocol.
Each Edit Room provides a 2 desk functional work space for Editors, Producers, and Production Assistants. Each seat has access to intercom, video/audio monitoring and local LAN production computer capability.
In room Edit Control and Video Display will be supported by three 23″ HD Monitor displays. A full 6 channel (5.1) Audio Monitor system provides edit and playback audio monitoring.
Super Editing - Production Control Room
A Fast Track linear editor is in place with wiring for up to 4 tape machines. This room also incorporates another Final Cut Pro non-linear edit system. The room also serves as a second control room.
The Production Control Room features a 2 tier set of consoles that will provide seating for 7 production personnel. Each seat provides for intercom, video/audio monitoring and local LAN production computer capability.
The room’s monitor wall supports sixteen 23″ HD Color Source Monitors and two 42″ Preview and Program Monitors. Each monitor is equipped with a 16 digit Source ID Tally Panel.
A full 6 channel (5.1) Audio Monitor system, equalized for room acoustics, will provide program and playback audio monitoring.
A 48 input 24 output 2 Mix/Effects High Definition Grass Valley Kayack Video Production Switcher, with integral Multi-Channel DVE and Still Store system provides for video production switching. A 24 input, 12 output Digital Audio Production console will provide audio mixing for Editing and production capabilities in the room.
High Definition Character Generation and Graphics are provided via HD Deko and integrated into the facilities Editing and Graphics development work stations.
Graphics
Graphics for all HD Production will be developed and coordinated in the Graphics production area. Utilizing the full Adobe Suite of After Effects, 4 full function graphic workstations are integrated with the facilities shared media storage system. This room will support and will be pre-wired for the future addition of 2 workstations.
2D, 3D and Animated Sequences can be produced within this area, stored on the facilities shared storage system and then integrated into either program or edited segments in the Production Control Rooms and/or Editing Rooms.
Voice Over Rooms
Two Voice Over Rooms with line of sight into one edit bay and our Audio Sweetening Room. Both rooms have a floating floor and floating ceiling creating a virtually acoustically perfect VO environment. Each room contains 2 Neuman TLM-103 Microphones for exceptional clarity. The audio from these rooms can be routed easily to any of our edit bays or to shared storage.
Media Server and Ingest Room
A series of 3 rooms, Media Ingest 1 and 2, and Video Tape and Duplication, will support the functions of media ingest, video tape recording, video tape dubbing and DVD generation and duplication.
Each of the 2 Media Ingest Rooms will have assigned to it a full HD server channel of record and playback capability. Ingest and dub control of all Video and Audio signal parameters will be available, as well as signal conversion from Standard Definition to High Definition and vice versa.
Quality Assurance Video and Audio Monitoring at each station will provide personnel with the ability to adjust and maintain the HD digital video and 5.1 audio to the highest of industry standards.
